Kids’ Meals mission is to end childhood hunger in Houston by delivering free healthy meals, year-round to the doorsteps of Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children and through collaboration provide their families with resources to end the cycle of poverty.

Operation Love
The ‘Operation Love’ project grew out of a love for the children and families of Houston's Third Ward. It is a project of the Emancipation Economic Development Council (E.E.D.C.) and Tre Missional communities in partnership with community businesses and other ministries in the greater Houston area.
Every year since 2016 Operation Love has provided a hot meal, toys, and clothing to the families of Blackshear Elementary during the Christmas season. Blackshear Elementary School has been in the heart of Third Ward for more than 100 years, and approximately, 94% are economically disadvantaged with 63.7% considered at risk of dropping out of school.
The 2022 Operation Love event will be held December 10, 2022 from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. at 2900 Holman Street, Houston, TX 77004.
