Team members suggested several nonprofit and charitable organizations throughout the Greater Houston area as places where Hollaway should dedicate some time. With the opening of the San Antonio office, we are gearing up to propose this question again to gather insight on how we can give back to Central Texas in addition to the Houston area. In the past, Hollaway has partnered with organizations such as the Salvation Army and The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston to purchase gifts for a child in need. In 2024, we wanted to take a suggestion from our team and volunteer for Houston’s Star of Hope.    “Star of Hope is a Christ-centered community dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men, women, and their children. Positive life changes are encouraged through structured programs which focus on spiritual growth, education, employment, life management and recovery from substance abuse,” according to Star of Hope’s mission statement. The organization is funded through public and private donations, churches, civic/community groups, corporations, grants, and foundations. In addition, Star of Hope is assisted by more than 7,300 volunteers. To celebrate these wins, bring our team together, and give back, we’ll host a new voluntary event for the last quarter in December. The team will meet in the office and assemble 200 sack lunches to deliver to Star of Hope to feed those in need this holiday season. Ms. Dunn brings with her the ease of adaptability, organizational skills, as well as previous administrative and marketing experience to the company. As an Executive Administrative Assistant, she helps lead the efficient operation of the office, assists in invoicing, marketing efforts, and provides day to day support to the Executive Team. She is also the DEI+B committee chairman at Hollaway.
